CED Lib: Please Throw Your Garbage Properly

"Excellence is a journey; Discipline is the vehicle" As much as we love to dream and/or envision “excellence” for this institute, we also would like to remind students to practice self-discipline. Self-discipline is not only about having the proper diet or following a strict study schedule. As future professionals, we should think of how to be a good example to others even in simple ways. We would like to advise our patrons to use the trash bins located near the entrance/exit door of CED Library.  Please do not leave your trash (pieces of papers, plastic bottles, pencil shavings and other wastes) on or under the furniture and fixtures of the library. Throw your garbage properly in the trash bins provided.  Please keep in mind that there are others who are still going to use the library facilities. Be considerate. Have a great day ahead!

CED RNA Update: Antivirus Definition Update

College of Education Library - Research Network Area Update The computers inside the College of Education Library - Research Area Network are protected from virus and other malicious software using free antivirus software from SmadAV and Avast. And, each of the computers are installed with Faronics Deep Freeze. This is to ensure that the computers are safe from data corruption. http://www.smadav.net/ As of June 3, 2016, a new update from SmadAV is ready for download. SmadAV automatically scans your external flash drives which takes about less than a minute depending on the size of your drive and the files in it. SmadAV cleans up your drive before you can access its contents. Tip: Most computers outside the College of Education Library are infected with computer virus which can corrupt your data anytime. You can download a copy of SmadAV antivirus in your flash drive and install it on other computers before accessing your files with them.
